It's not just gossip girls .. it's true .. Kelly Rutherford's numero uno designer is Nanette.
"I love to wear her clothes I've been a fan for a long time, " says the actress.
Soprano Edie Falco says the line hits a high note for her too.
It's fun it's something you can just enjoy. It can make you feel different about yourself," says Falco.
And the Bohemian designer will have plenty of new disciples after they see her sheer beaded tops, alpaca coats with crazy collars and her girlie dresses for fall.
"I wanted to have a really easy to wear collection. So we started with gray and camel as the base and from there built on the beautiful color so it goes from smokey rose to deep shades of merlot and cassis, " she says.
Nanette feels strongly hemlines have to drop and they don't have to be even.
"Long skirts .. that's the beginning of it ... especially with this winter the layering even got more," says Lepore.
Outerwear is the essential layer -- Lepore plays with leather and zipper accents on coats and belts a poncho. The make-up picks up on colors in the collection.
"She looks kind of like beautiful smokey eyes but with a berry stained lip," says Lepore.
Similar to the clothes, Lepore doesn't want the beauty story to be high maintenance.
"We are doing a look by Stila called "Gypsy Dream" ... this look is very comfortable," says makeup artist Sarah Lucero.
Hair stylist James Pecis played with the braid.
"We're taking the hair down and braiding it across the forehead almost like a fringed piece so when the girls walk it's a little bit loose and wavy and tousled but it has that nice braid that comes across the face," he says.
