Ditch those mini's ladies and listen up, this season it's all about longer skirts.

Cindy Weber Cleary, fashion director at InStyle tells us she's pleased to see the new longer length.

"For years it was impossible to find anything that wasn't half way up your thigh. It looks very elegant and new."

Try one that falls right below the knee, with a crisp white shirt and a faux fur jacket. Pair it with some lady-like heels and you're good to go.

It's a refined look but also grown-up and chic.
