Born in India, Khan launched his fashion line in 2003 and was immediately embraced by magazine-cover staples including Beyonc, Diane Kruger, Brooke Shields and Michelle Obama. His opulent designs make use of jewel-tone colors and elegant, body-skimming fabrics. This season Khan made an eleven-year-old girl battling cancer's dream come true: He designed a dress for her, seated her in the front row and brought her out onto the runway for the show's close.
"The best way to really appreciate fashion is what you see up close and you see how much effort and how much work is put in the design," Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe.

Kors' luxurious sportswear business has made the designer one of the few "fashion billionaires." His designs often bring together disparate materials and silhouettes, so a dressier fabric might be paired with a more casual pant. Celebrities appreciate the dichotomy, as Jennifer Lopez, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Gwyneth Paltrow and Rene Russo have all worn his gowns.
"The show was spectacular. A lot of sparkles but a lot of tweeds. I mean really the most luxurious Fall wardrobe you can think of. It was really Michael at his best," Nina Garcia, Marie Claire Creative Director and Project Runway Judge.

Designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig's mission is to create dresses that are "like living works of art." They met in London and created their label in 2004, and it quickly became a favorite of celebrities and critics, as it was named one of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund's top ten finalists. Naomi Watts, Kerry Washington and Sandra Bullock count themselves as fans of the label.
"They make women look super elegant, refined, beautiful and so feminine and I'm all those things. I wish, in my dreams, maybe I'm not as refined as I could be, but when you put on a Marchesa dress you feel beautiful," Karen Elson, Model & Musician.
"Very romantic, very ethereal. There are lots of petals, rose petals, embroideries, bugles," Georgina Chapman, designer.
"We were also looking at the gardens of Highgrove, going back to our roots a bit so it's got a royal feeling. Lots of three dimensional flowers, lots of pops of color, lots of gold as Georgina was saying." Keren Craig, designer
