This spring, breakout designer, Alon Livne, takes us on a wild ride to the past and forges ahead to the future.
"The inspiration was 80s and 90s but in a futuristic way a little bit from science fiction magazine, " says Livne.
Best known for designs duds for Beyonc, Livne rocks the runway with electric brights from purple to yellow dresses and sexy shorts. Flash is the name of his game.
"Literally every piece that came down the runway I was like .. oh my god ... I need to wear that. I need that one. I loved everything," gushes Paris Hilton.
From Paris to musician Natalia Kills, Livgne's edgy combinations aren't about precious pastels they're about punching it up this spring.
"For my videos Problem and Saturday Night I wore various pieces from diff collections. I had no idea I'd be able to come to the show and see what's next because then I'll get some inspiration and decide what I'm gonna wear next for my next music video," says Natalia Kills, musician.
It was easy, breezy and slightly structural at ICB by Prabal Gurung. All white with silver metallic accents. Hot and sporty. Fuchsia was the it color, showing- up on a range of trapeze-like dresses.
"It's a fun look. It's my homage to festival hair it's very easy, very cool, very nonchalant. We are trying to give the impression that these girls have been dancing for days and haven't washed their hair," says hair stylist Anthony Turner.
From the future to the sports field to the softer side, Nanette Lepore says women are getting too tough.
"It was a new romantic inspiration sort of embracing the idea that we need softness and prettiness again," says Lepore.
And so she gives is to us with kicky, chartreuse dresses, ruffles, fun floral prints and bright red suits because some days you need stronger statements.
"They're so feminine and playful but still sexy it's like a free fun line," says Christiane Seidel, Actress.
Stress-free dressing is a theme throughout the collections, busy actress and mom Kelly Rutherford is a big fan.
"I love that they are so easy to wear, I walk in I find something, I zip it up and I go," says Kelly Rutherford, actress.
