NYFW Spring 2014 LACOSTE : Tennis Anyone?
Tennis Anyone? Lacoste's spring show serves up signature sporty styles
From the LifeMInute team
Tennis anyone? Felipe Oliveira Baptista, artistic director for Lacoste puts out a collection with lots of white piping, similar to the lines on a tennis court.
The label's sporty foundation is therefore alive and well for the women's wear with athletic jackets attached to long dresses.
From edging to edgy: there's transparent stripes through dresses. Coats and polos are also included in the collection.
Baptista serves-up an interesting combination of dusty pink, blues, camel and lots of crisp white.
"I mean it's great, it's fun, it's very wearable. I love Felipe so I'm here to support him and the brand," says Celebrity DJ Leigh Lezark.
For the men, it's sporty suits (a signature) and some cool trenchcoats in unusual fabrics like jersey and a rubber-like material.
Silhouettes are voluminous played off of stick straight but overall Baptista brought his A game.
