Michael Kors sticks to his jet set roots but takes us on some unexpected trips

Michael Kors kicks classics up a notch. His spring 2014 collection is chock-full of traditional silhouettes like the pencil skirts, highwaisted bikini or tailored short sleeve shirt -- but he does them in camel colored snakeskin or adds snips away the fabric at the clavicle.
The Project Runway judge is one of the most enduring designers in the biz and this show reminds us why -- he keeps the soft, easy pieces coming like printed purple blouses but jet set sex appeal that is well -- very appropriate for a runway.
Skirts have thigh high slits for stepping onto the plane to Cabo. Oh - and don't forget the chunky cardigan for breezy nights on the beach. Brilliant!
