A designer with 50 years of staying power in an industry known for its cutthroat nature must be revered, especially when she finishes off every show with a seemingly-effortless cartwheel/split combo. Never mind that she is 73 years old. Known for her theatrical style and personal joie-de-vivre, her myriad fans span the spectrum of fashion folks to artist to beauty bigs.
"How can you not adore Betsy, in every shape and form and in every decade?"
Nigel Barker, celebrity photographer
"It's my big bang. 50 years of my work. We're giving 3 looks to the show. There's the punk approach, the rainbow crimped girls, the costume girls, the opener girls, the glamour, the Rita Hayworth, hair."
Betsy Johnson, designer
"The looks here at Betsy...the red glitter nails really are everything that she represents to me through our Morgan Taylor colors. Our second look is from her psychadelia, flower power theme where we combined 6 separate colors and did a water marbling technique so it matched very well to what was going on in that era in that collection. Our third look is our mod nail. We did the black, white and silver. And all with graphic lines."
Danielle Candido, Lead Designer, Morgan Taylor
"Taking a page out of Betsey's book: Don't let anyone define you. You figure out what you love and what works. Do what you want."

Famous for her glamorous and feminine designs, Pamella Roland launched in 2002 and has since cultivated a global fan base. Her collections are sold in over 70 department stores in the United States and abroad. She's a favorite of bold-faced names (Eva Longoria, Halle Berry, Taylor Swift) and fashion followers alike.
"I love her stuff. It's beautiful. It's comfortable and sexy. It's dressy. You can do whatever you want." Mary J Blige, Singer/Songwriter "It's a completely different show than I've ever done. It's more for entertaining today. We're using color this season and a lot of different fluid fabrics."
Pamela Rolland, Designer
"Her clothes are beautiful and elegant. But they always have a nice modern spin to them."
Brad Goreski, Celebrity Stylist
