NYFW Spring 2018: Phillip Plein
Plein's fans including Nicki Minaj and Paris Hilton enjoyed the designer's bondage fairytale-inspired collection, "Good Gone Bad"
Dita Von Teese's sparkling burlesque routine opened the dramatic bondage-meets-Disney-Princess-themed collection shown at Hammerstein Ballroom. Rapper Future provided the musical entertainment and acted as a sort of ringmaster as both men and women's designs were showed concurrently; models including Adriana Lima, Irina Shayk, and Vernell Varnado and Cordell Broadus (Snoop Dogg's father and son, respectively), strutted the runway in strappy leather dresses, distressed denim, diamond-quilted metallic bombers and the occasional t-shirt with the slogan "Prince Charming Made Me Do It."
