Pamella Roland is hoping one of her runway gowns will get an Oscar nod. Models like Lydia Hearst has no doubt -- she and others who have worn the clothes keep coming back to see what's next.
"She is just one of the most incredibly talented and kind hearted people to work with in fashion and I adore here and I just want to be here to support her," says model Lydia Hearst.
Suede tunics, long skirts and sequence apparently remind Rolan of the Big Apple 0 her inspiration for the clothes.
"The 1930s architecture of New York and I kind of got my idea from my friend TJ Wilcox who just closed his show at The Whitney but you will see a little bit of sparkle and the New York skyline if you look closely enough at the beading," she says.
Her colors are pulled from Manhattan sunsets but there's also a strong navy set.
"I love her stuff. It's always really beautiful and feminine and gorgeous so I'm excited to see what's next," says model Julie Henderson.
The Must Have piece is a sequence tile parka trimmed with black fox fur. The beauty story is also a bit of a throwback.
"We have the Veronica Lake look with the hair kind of coming down like this and you'll see a little tiny bit of sparkle with the eyes," says Roland.
Hair stylist Ted Gibson is famous for wavy blow-outs in her Florida salon.
"Thirties hair but I wanted to make it more modernized so it doesn't look so deliberate," he says.
The face of the collection is well conditioned.
"I kept the skin very natural and clean and I did a moisturizer compact which gives like a semi matte finish so it has some glow but it's not shiny but it's not dry at all," says Matin Makeup Artist.
Oscar nod or not - Roland is already a style star.
"It's vintage but it's not. It's all modern cuts and takes. It's a beautiful collection and it's going to be really wearable for the red carpet. You're going to see star after star after star wearing these. It's what Pamela does really well and in abundance, " says fashion photographer Nigel Barker.
