It's a jungle out there for Tsumori Chisato's flashy Fall/Winter 2014 collection at Paris Fashion Week, with parrot, gorilla and palm tree embellishments everywhere.
"It was super fun and very whimsical," said Teen Vogue Fashion Director Gloria Baume, "It was also really wearable, especially with what you see everyday walking in and out of shows and how women are sort of dressing in such a flamboyant and such a strong way."
The 1940s inspired the silhouettes of many of the colorful collection's dresses and skirts. However, the line's unique patterns, graphics and head-to-toe embellishments make it modern and ready-to-wear.
"I wanted to make shoes as if you're wearing socks, and banana hair accessories," the designer told us.
The result -- a fashion safari sure to heat up any winter wardrobe.
