Summer outdoor gathering may look a bit different this year, but we’re still all looking for ways to get gather outside with our friends and family. Here are some of our tips and must-haves to do it right.
For starters, set up separate little areas around the yard or patio, so families can congregate together and have plenty of room.
Make sure to have a good hand sanitizer out so using it is the first thing guests have to do before reaching for a plate.
Opted for packaged appetizers, like individually wrapped cheeses and little bags of chips, so guests don’t have to grab into the same bowl. If you have nuts, make sure there are spoons handy.
Go disposable with plates and cutlery, it makes everything easier and more sanitary to dispose of. Hefty even has a new eco-save line that’s compostable in commercial facilities, even some of the packaging is recyclable. And it’s super sturdy.
Keep bugs at bay with citronella candles and tiki torches and keep bug repellant handy in case anyone wants it. Don’t forget the inside of your home too, as guests will ultimately head in at one point or another to use the powder room. Instead of nasty harsh bug killer sprays, LifeMinute loves Zevo sprays. They use bio-selective technology to kill bugs without harsh chemicals. Instead they use essential oils such as lemongrass. Plus they really smell nice.
