KBIS, the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show, is taking place now in Orlando, Florida. Leading kitchen and bath designers unveil their latest innovations at the show. With everyone paying more attention to their homes, now more than ever these days, it has never been a more relevant topic. We have the scoop straight from KBIS.
So what is cooking in the kitchen? Well, everyone is going crazy over the Signature Kitchen Suite 48-inch French Door Refrigerator, newly unveiled at KBIS and a Best of KBIS award finalist.
This first-of-its-kind fridge is great for a large kitchen. The amazing design offers flexible storage options. This one is unique in that it’s the first-ever in a 48-inch. Design extras include drawers perfectly aligned with countertop height for neater lines in the kitchen. You can get it in stainless steel or custom-built panels that match your kitchen.
Plus, it has maximum versatility with two freezer compartments and a convertible drawer with five preset temperatures for chilled wine, meats, seafood, and drinks or freezer mode. It has Lift and Go™ drawers with fully adjustable door bins and hidden LED lighting, so you can see what you’re pulling out. It also offers a dual ice maker that makes both regular ice and slow-melting craft ice, elevating all of your favorite drinks.
Everyone is buzzing about the new LG Washer and Dryer Pair, another Best of KBIS Award finalist, for the laundry room. With a sleek, seamless design, it uses artificial intelligence that makes doing your laundry actually pleasurable. It can sense load size, the softness of your fabrics, and the level of soiling and then automatically adds the right amount of detergent.
The LG Smart Pairing™ feature sends information from the washer to the dryer and automatically recommends the optimal drying cycle, so no guesswork. And it learns your cycle habits and saves them for you, so you can quickly and easily select your preferences and go.
Also new this year, the LG WashTower™ with Heat Pump Dryer, a full-sized all-in-one vertical great for large families. It uses up to 50% less energy than other models. With a heat pump system that doesn’t require ventilation, installation is super easy too.
What are we seeing when it comes to colors and other trends? Nature-inspired colors. Lots of greens and blues. For fixtures, the trend is more toward matte and brushed finishes in black, stainless, nickel, and pewter.
