Nate Berkus Partners with LG Studio to Give Away Dream Kitchen

One of America's favorite interior designers, Nate Berkus has teamed up with LG Studio to help consumers design their signature kitchens because of their shared commitment to living beautifully, without sacrificing personality. The duo are offering up real solutions and inspiration with a new web and social media campaign all geared toward helping consumers create the kitchen of their dreams.

How to get it? Nate says create a look and feel that can transition through the years. "When people invest in things that are built into their home like appliances and cabinets and backsplashes you want those products to be things that will last for years...timeless materials and things that will look good ten years from now."

Nate says organization is key. "I literally think about organizing as I'm actually organizing. That means eggs come out of the container. I don't want anyone else's packaging in my kitchen."

The interior designer also suggests using a vintage glass front cabinet to store your platters, dishes and glassware. Also store cooking utensils in a vase and stock up your refrigerator to look like a store. "It's not always the easiest thing to do, but when you open the door it makes me so happy," says Nate.

Finally make sure your kitchen is hard-wired. " I think incorporating technology is really important," he says invest in a charging pad for your phone, a wooden block to hold your tablet for hands free for cooking and a USB port in the wall if you're renovating.
