Publix Pledges to Donate Another $2 Billion in Food by 2030
One in eight people across the U.S. struggle with hunger. One grocery chain is using its success and power of community to help

Southeast supermarket chain Publix is once again giving back to people in need. The retailer has spent years working to alleviate hunger, donating millions of dollars in food to local food banks. Over the past ten years, Publix has also donated $2 billion worth of perishable food- dairy, deli, meat, produce and fresh-baked goods. Today, they pledged to donate another 2 billion dollars in perishable food over the next 10 years- 4 billion in total by 2030.
