The Spring 2013 Badgely Mischka runway was more like a peaceful fairies' woodland forest than the usual frenetic celebrity-filled fashion show. The ready-to-wear collection featured beautiful romantic pieces in soft pastel colors and shimmery neutrals. Cellophane tweed, chiffon, lace, tulle and sequins all came together in an exquisite and highly detailed collection. "Spring is really a fun season for us. It's inspired by the movie Midsummer Night's Dream, the 1935 version which we colorized in our head," the designer Mark Badgely told us.
