Runway to Real Way: NYFW Trends Wrap-Up

Supermodels, paparazzi, celebs...it was a fashion frenzy in NYC. Some of the trends that turned heads...50 shades of grey dominated the runways...strong, sexy and slim silhouettes and loads of embellishments. The must-have of the season? Experts like Nina Garcia, Fashion Director at Marie Claire, say it's a dress.

And if you think what you see on the catwalk isn't really attainable...think again! Stores such as David's Bridal are already crafting the looks. We stopped by their design studio and met with Michele Von Plato, Senior Vice President of Design & Development, for a behind the scenes peek at all the must-have runway trends at a fraction of the runway price.

Avril Graham, Executive Fashion and Beauty Editor of Harper's Bazaar says the trends always trickle down from the runways to the malls so it's easy to find something right for you. Now when it comes to beauty, we saw plenty of fresh, clean faces...fun pops of colors on the eyes and the nails too.
