Kingda Ka at Six Flags in Jackson, NJ
At 456 feet, it's the tallest coaster in the world and the fastest in North America. The duration of the ride is just 50 seconds, but within the first 3.5 seconds, you reach speeds of 128 MPH.
Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH
Riders are launched in the blink of an eye before sprinting straight up at a 90-degree incline reaching 420 feet in the air and reaching 120 MPH. Then they are hurdled at a 270-degree twist back down before crossing the finish line all in just 17 seconds.
Intimidator 305 at Kings Dominion in Doswell, VA
Standing at 305 feet at its highest point with a first drop of 300 feet at an 85-degree angle, this coaster is filled with high-speed twists and turns.
SheiKra at Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL
Plunge 200 feet on this 90-degree drop, followed by an Immelmann loop, a second dive into an underground tunnel, culminating in a drenching splashdown finale.
