SAG-AFTRA, a union representing about 160,000 Hollywood actors, officially went on strike after failing to reach a deal with Hollywood’s biggest studios. The strike marks the first time writers and actors have simultaneously withheld their work in 63 years. Many gathered in Times Square to protest.
