Adam Lippes' Spring 2023 Collection is a Salute to Egypt

The New York designer drew inspiration from the country after taking a two-week trip there earlier this year

Inspired by a recent trip to Egypt, the spring 2023 collection of Adam Lippes pays homage to the country. The designer aims to rethink traditional sportswear and sketched Egypt’s native flowers for this season’s prints. As for fabrics, Lippes used fine cotton produced by Hesni, the country’s oldest mill. He also partnered with Threads of Hope, a Cairo organization that employs refugees, to create some of the embroideries. See the entire runway show here.
