NYFW Spring 2019 is sparkling up a storm in head to toe glitter

Twenty-three year-old British designer Christian Cowan who has dressed the likes of Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and Christina Aguilera who was front row, and is responsible for the cover art of Cardi B's album Invasion of Privacy, loaded it on everything, from ostrich feathered dresses to hoodies.

At Custo Barcelona, Spanish designer, Custo Dalmau uses various "levels of shine" to create the sparkling and metallic frocks we saw.

The sparkle wasn't reserved for clothing, as proven at Tadashi Shoji's show where his galactic models flashed bold shots of color on their eyelids.

Meanwhile Marie Claudinette Jean's nature-inspired Fush presentation, takes it on the lips. Playing with color and texture on evening wear...lace, feather, sequins, animal prints... you name it.
