Legions of lovely ladies came out to take in the shimmering wonder that is the Spring 2015 collection by Monique Lhuillier.

Actress Abigail Spencer observes, "It is a pretty lady party. And that's what Monique does, she brings all the pretty ladies together." Jennifer Morrison couldn't contain her anticipation. "I just love everything she makes...so I'm excited to see what's new," shared the actress.

The designer says her namesake collection for this season began with a sunrise. Lhuillier explains, "The early morning colors that you see, all those beautiful pastels and the shimmer...I really wanted to capture that."

Floating down the runway were luminescent ball gowns and glistening party dresses in soft pinks, blues and lavenders, punctuated with dazzling silver and bronze metallics.

Sleek hair and dewy makeup completed the incandescent look. Says Lhuillier, "We really wanted to play up the iridescence and that shine."

To achieve the very straight hair, Hair Stylist Bob Recine reveals, "We're putting a little bit of oil spray on there to reflect all the holographic and luminescent fabrics that Monique used this season."

No detail was glossed over, save for the one that needed to be... Manicurist Gina Edwards lacquered the nails with Morgan Taylor polishes in shades plucked from the sunrise, "We mixed these two colors, Color Me Bold and Coming Up Roses, and it made a beautiful mauve with a hint of an orange in it. We just sponged the color, lightly, [and] left the tip more of a clear. And we just put Need for Speed over that to give it that high-gloss shine."
