Designer Frederick Anderson has been in the fashion game for a long time. He first came to New York City to study dance at just 16 years old. Fast forward some years later with a fashion journey, and he draws inspiration for his collection from his love of ballet and a recent meeting with a dear friend and principal at the American Ballet Theatre, Catherine Hurlin, and her performance in Swan Lake. As such, Anderson’s “swans” are bold, elegant, fearless, and “strong” in the shapes of luscious neutral leathers, crochets, crepes, sheer laces, and sequins. Win. Win. Take a Bow.
