Shantel VanSanten Joins LUNG FORCE to Raise Awareness of Lung Cancer

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S., and accounts for only 4% of all American cancer survivors

Every two and a half minutes, someone in America is diagnosed with lung cancer, with more than 230,000 new cases estimated this year.

The American Lung Association's LUNG FORCE is an initiative that unites lung cancer survivors and their loved ones to stand together against lung cancer and for lung health. In honor of National Women's Lung Health Week, actress and LUNG FORCE Hero Shantel VanSanten - who lost her grandmother to lung cancer - and CVS Health's Eileen Howard Boone help us understand the burden of lung cancer and share what we can do to help support loved ones.
