Everyone wants a six pack, but many ignore the core muscles when working out. Here is why you should strengthen your center and how to do it with a few easy exercises you can try right at home.

Make sure you feel it in your core, and not your back. If you do, it’s usually because your core isn’t strong enough yet. Don’t give up. You’ll get there.

Don’t forget abs are “made in the kitchen.” Exercise alone isn’t enough. You need to keep your diet in check. Fruits, veggies, whole grains, and omega-3 fatty acids found in fish, nuts and seeds such as flax and chia are your best bets. You know, healthy, “clean” foods.
