Winter Skin Care Tips
Baby It's Cold Outside!Low temperature, low humidity and harsh winds can wreak havoc on our skin. What to do?It's very important to follow a good skin care routine. Follow simple steps to make it the best it can be. For starters check the temp. Use luke warm water while washing your hands and taking showers. Hot water depletes the skin of moisture. Stick with a soap free cleanser. Next keep a good 24 hour hydrating moisturizer nearby and use it every single day, after every hand wash and shower. It works best while your skin is damp. And make sure it has sun protection! In the winter your skin is still exposed on a daily basis. That kind of incidental skin exposure can add up over time and damage the skin. Year round even in the winter months, sun protection is the most important step for healthy skin. Aveeno has a daily moisturizer with SPF 15. it's oatmeal formula relieves and prevents dry skin. It also adds broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection against sun damage. You should also exfoliate on a bi-weekly or weekly basis. And don't forget your lips!
