After falling in love on national TV's The Bachelor, reality TV stars Sean and Catherine Lowe recently welcomed a baby boy Samuel Thomas and thanks to Dreft we have a sneak peek into their new Dallas, Texas home and chic nursery.
"I didn't think that I would love something so much," says firs time mom Catherine, "I know a lot of people would tell me oh you're going to have another heart just for him and honestly I miss him when his eyes are closed."
The new parents partnered with Dreft to share their journey into parenthood. "Our fans will be able to follow our messy journey over the course of the next year with Samuel and as he grows and they will be able to see some inside pictures and videos of what's happening in our life and kind of watch him grow and watch us evolve as parents," says the former The Bachelor star.
The couple says their lives have changed so much since the new baby and they are trying to savor every moment. "Every day is so precious," says Catherine, "As often as I can I just stare at him and I try to record his sounds because those sounds are going to change."
But the couple is learning that having a newborn isn't all roses. What's the toughest part? "...Between this kid peeing and pooping on things and spitting up on things ...we're doing probably two solid loads of laundry a day," says Sean, "So you know, thank you Dreft!"
Catherine has a long running personal relationship with the brand. "My mom used it on me," she says, "That just makes me feel really connected to my childhood."
Another memory Catherine can share with her son his adorable nursery, which the mom added a personal touch to--wallpaper she made just for the nursery. On the wallpaper she has cute sayings including; from womb service to bottle service, Mama, you're the breast, and will you accept these toes?, which pays tribute to the show that started it all.
The couple also ditched on what they thought of the latest The Bachelorette finale. "I don't think it was the most unpredictable finale because she was giving us signs all season long that she was going to choose Jordan but it was still entertaining," says Sean, "Our favorite thing to do is to live tweet the show every Monday night so we had a good time. "
And while they're busy with their little one it seems the Lowes have no plans of slowing down. "I was just recently asked to be a cohost of the Bachelor in Paradise aftershow so I can kind of give my pithy little witty comments. That will be a lot of fun," says Sean.
