Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey Touch on the Inspiring Take-Aways from Soul

The animated film reminds us not to take life for granted and live it to the fullest

The latest film from Pixar, Soul, stars Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey in an uplifting animated tale about a middle school band teacher, Joe (Foxx) whose life hasn’t turned out the way he expected.  Just when things start to look up, an accident brings him to another realm. He then meets 22 (Fey) and they both learn the importance of living a purposeful life.

The leads also find themselves embracing the themes of not wasting your time and focusing on your passion. “I always say don’t waste your blink and that comes from the saying ‘life is a blink of an eye’ and this just empowers that phrase,” said Foxx.

Tina Fey expressed, “It’s a perfect movie to remind us of how lucky we are to be alive.”
