The 2019 Billboard Music Awards hit the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas last night with Kelly Clarkson as host.

Taylor Swift and Panic! at the Disco’s Brendon Urie kicked it off with the first-ever performance of their new single “ME!"

Madonna performed for the first time in years with Maluma, banging out a so-called $5 million dollar performance of their hit “Medellin.”

Mariah Carey took home the Billboard Icon Award and performed a medley of hits and Paula Abdul closed it out with a song and dance compilation reminding us that she’s forever our girl.

Big Presenters of the night included Justin Hartley, Chrissy Metz, Eva Longoria, Olivia Wilde, Julianne Hough, Jennifer Hudson and Ralph Macchio.

And history was made on some of the wins, with Drake becoming the most-awarded artist in BBMAs history, nabbing 12 awards to bring his all-time total up to 27, surpassing Taylor Swift. Cardi B was the most-nominated artist of the night, with 21 nods and 6 wins among them, top 100 hot song for her collaboration with Maroon 5, “Girls Like You,” and Top Female Rap artist.  Florida Georgia Line became the first three-time winner for best country song, for “Meant to Be,” their collaboration with Bebe Rexha.
