Animalweapon’s Patrick Cortes Tackles Mental Health and Anxiety on New Album, Set of Constraints

One to watch Patrick Cortes, who dreamt up his one-man electronic act, Animalweapon has been a staple in the Raleigh music scene since 2011.

His talent for musical expression led him to win a 2017 Webby Award for Best Sound Design/Original Music Score for his work on the hit podcast Undisclosed.

And over the years he has released several EPs and albums including Good Luck, Tyrannosaurus and, his latest, Set of Constraints which tackles themes surrounding mental health and anxiety.

We got to chat with him virtually about the new album and what’s next.
