As a little girl in Soviet-occupied Estonia, Kerli dreamed of making music. Now, after years of studying singing, dancing, acting and piano, that little girl with big dreams of becoming a pop star is all grown up and living a life she loves.
No surprise then that "a life of love" is the inspiration for Kerli's second EP "Utopia." Kerli credits the album's mix of pop and dance with a gothic twist to her obsession with the merging of opposites, the blending of light and dark, and an unexpected combination of elements that, for Kerli, evokes images of "sweaty angels in the desert."
