English rock band, A Silent Film is making noise in the U.S., just wrapping a 15-city tour with One Republic, The Smashing Pumpkins and The Temper Trap.
Critics have compared the handsome quartet to Coldplay, Snow Patrol and The Killers.
The hit off their first album The City That Sleeps "You Will Leave A Mark" was nominated for the XFM New Music Award, was selected as one of iTunes rising stars, and was even a part of the video game, Rock Band.
Famed producer Alan Moulder (U2, Nine Inch Nails and The Killers) mixed their sophomore album, Sand and Snow. The killer collab produced the hit "Harbour Lights", their version of a modern love song, which they recorded in Delaware.
Frontman Robert Stevenson says, "We have what people out here think is a British sound but we're so inspired by American stuff. I like to imagine it's this giant game of tennis that we play, you guys serve up The Beach Boys we serve back with The Beatles."
The guys say they plan to release their third album in 2014.... with the success of these two releases, we hope that comes soon.
