Indie-Folk Band "The Last Bison"

We sat down with the members of this tight knit group about their alternative mountain-top chamber music that boasts a sound all it's own.

The Last Bison LOVE what they do and they love doing it together. The 7-member band includes Ben, Annah, Dan, Jay, Andrew, Teresa and Amos.

Ben, who writes most of their music got his influence for the band back in high school when he was home schooled and studied the Industrial Revolution for a whole month. He fell in love with the aesthetic and wanted to infuse that look and feel into the band. That's why all of the members dress like they just stepped out of the 1800's.

Dan, who's Ben and Annah's father said that it's not just the way they dress, but also how they carry themselves, it's in their music..the aesthetic is in all elements of their art.

He also mentions that if you don't like long lasting relationships then to stay away because once you're sucked in, you're family to them.

Their new album "Inheritance" comes out in March.
