Jake Owen Performing Live at Starland Ballroom NJ to Promote New Album "American Love"

Whether you like country or not, country-flame Jake Owen is worth the watch. The barefoot babe is a little country, rock, rap, and pop --something for everyone, with his 8 piece band, horns in tow.

We caught the 35 year-old performing at Starland Ballroom in New Jersey Friday night to promote his latest album "American Love."

The room was jamming with crazed fans and we understand why, the guy puts on a great show -- high fives, selfies, autographs, and fun with a beach ball, all while singing his heart out. It was a little like being on a beachy vacation, complete with palm trees, pink flamingos, and lots of sea foam green, his fave color.

Jake opened with the popular "Beachin,'" and "Summer Jam" followed by last year's, "Real Life" where in his always humbled fashion, proves just how "real" life is by admitting he forgot some of the words to the song.

So if you like good music, great live performance, and some eye candy to boot, you should definitely go check out one of his shows, he's playing all summer long through September. Like the name of his latest single, you'll be in "good company."
