If you haven't heard of singer songwriter, Slaid Cleaves it's time you did. Twenty-five years into his career, the artist says he hopes to move people with his music. And he sure has, we caught up with him at The Turning Point in Piermont, NY earlier this month where he played to a packed house, that included Nora Guthrie (Woody's daughter.) The modest, Cleaves says, Russell Crowe recorded one of his songs "One Good Year" about a decade ago and Author, Stephen King wrote the liner notes to one of his albums in 2009. His latest work Ghost on the Car Radio is out now and he'll be touring the west coast this summer. Do yourself a favor, and check him out at SlaidCleaves.com.
