Italian gothic metal band Lacuna Coil release their tenth studio album, Sleepless Empire.

Canadian-American singer, guitarist, and songwriter Neil Young releases Oceanside Countryside, the latest of his great "lost" albums to be released as part of his Analog Original Series (AOS). The album was recorded from May to December 1977 on tape.

American indie folk band The Lumineers release their fifth studio album, Automatic.

English indie rock band The Wombats release their sixth studio album, Oh! The Ocean.
