English pop band Bastille are back with their fourth studio album, Give Me The Future. It's their first album since before the pandemic in 2019. Released on EMI Records and executive produced by Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic, the lead single "Distorted Light Beam" is already picking up considerable buzz. Starting in April '22, you can catch lead vocalist Dan Smith and the rest of the band as they begin touring in the UK and Europe in support of the record.
The multifaceted Jennifer Lopez has a new rom-com, Marry Me slated for release in theaters and streaming exclusively on Peacock on February 11. The original soundtrack, released before the movie, features new music from Miss Lopez and her costar from the film, Columbia singer Maluma. There is a duet by the two on the title track. Before Valentine's Day, pick up the soundtrack and get familiar with all the songs before checking out the movie with your significant other.
Nu-Metal stalwarts Korn are back with their 14th studio release, Requiem, on Loma Vista Records. 9 new songs should please their longtime fans as they pump out the new stuff in their familiar style. The album is available in several formats, including a limited edition silver vinyl version. With only 1000 copies made, it is sure to be a collector's item.
Nicki Minaj and rapper Lil Baby have combined forces on the new single, "Do We Have A Problem." Kudos on their creative marketing approach by opening up an advice hotline for fans to call in and share their problems. A video directed by Benny Boom can also be seen and takes direct inspiration from one of Minaj's favorite movies, the 2010 action vehicle Salt starring Angelina Jolie.
