Pop Artist Matt Pond

Originally from Philly, the now Brooklyn-based Pond says he "loves playing music for people." And people love listening to it, especially the newly released collaboration with Producer Chris Hansen entitled "The Lives Inside the Lines in Your Hand" which is getting rave reviews for its heartfelt lyrics, and catchy riffs.

This is the 10th album for Pond, who released all previous efforts under the name Matt Pond PA.

The first three songs "Let Me Live", "Loved to Get Used" and "Starlet" are "the most forthright songs I've ever written," says Pond.

The singer-songwriter says he never imagined being a professional musician. "I didn't know I was going to play music I thought I was going to be a history professor or you know some kind of administrator I had no idea."

You can catch him on tour starting in June.
