Actor Terry Carter dies at 95
The Battlestar Galactica and McCloud star passed away at his home in New York City on Tuesday. Carter’s groundbreaking career had him as one of the first black actors to perform as a regular on a TV sitcom, along with being the world’s first black anchor of a TV newscast.

TikTok ban bill signed into law
This bill is part of an ongoing effort to ban the app over concerns of user data breaching by its China based parent company, ByteDance. The company must sell the social media platform to a U.S. based company within 9 months or face a national ban.
