Ariana Grande and Jonathan Bailey to reunite on stage in Sunday in the Park with George in London, summer 2027
Jonathan Bailey and Ariana Grande are set to reunite on stage in Sunday in the Park with George in London. The Wicked co-stars will team up once again in a new stage production of Stephen Sondheim’s celebrated musical. The pair recently teased the project on Instagram, sharing a photo of themselves in a museum standing before Georges Seurat’s iconic painting A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte, which inspired the show. They captioned the image with the line, “All it has to be is good.” The revival of the 1984 musical will be directed by Marianne Elliott and is scheduled to run at London’s Barbican Centre summer 2027, following earlier postponements of other planned revivals. Tickets for the highly anticipated production are set to go on sale in May 2026.

Fugees producer John Forté dies at 50
Grammy-nominated musician and producer John Forté has died at the age of 50. He was found unresponsive at his home in Chilmark, Massachusetts, on Monday afternoon. Authorities say there were no signs of foul play, though the death remains under investigation by the state medical examiner. An official autopsy report is pending, but family, friends, and reports indicate Forté experienced a serious health setback involving a seizure about a year ago. He is survived by his wife and two young children. Best known for his work on the Fugees’ landmark album The Score, Forté collaborated extensively with Wyclef Jean and enjoyed a wide-ranging career spanning solo music, film and television scoring, and advocacy for criminal justice reform following his release from prison.

Ed Sheeran performs F1's “Drive” with all-star band
Ed Sheeran brought down the house on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, teaming up with an all-star band for a hard-hitting performance of “Drive.” Joining Sheeran onstage were Dave Grohl, John Mayer, Blake Slatkin, Pino Palladino, and Rami Jaffee, reuniting the supergroup for the rock song’s live debut. “Drive” was recorded for the soundtrack of Brad Pitt’s upcoming racing film F1. Sheeran co-wrote the track with Mayer and producer Blake Slatkin, both of whom play guitar on the recording. The lineup is rounded out by Grohl on drums, Palladino on bass, and Rami Jaffee on keys. The song was shortlisted last month for the 2026 Academy Award for Best Original Song, and this high-profile performance is sure to further boost its awards momentum and catch the attention of Oscar voters.
