Baseball Hall of Famer and 24-time All-Star Willie Mays dies at 93

Mays began his professional baseball career with the Negro Leagues’ Black Barons at just 16-years-old. He was later signed by the MLB to the New York Giants and won Rookie of the Year in his debut season. He went on to earn recognition as a MLB great, playing 22 seasons, ranked 6th in all-time home runs with 660, and 13th all-time hits. Mays passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon surrounded by loved ones.

Ralph Lauren reveals Team USA Olympic and Paralympic uniforms

For the 9th consecutive year Ralph Lauren designs opening and closing ceremony looks. Opening ceremony uniforms will feature a navy wool blazer trimmed with classic USA red and white lettering. The chest of the blazer will feature two separate logos, the signature Ralph Lauren Big Pony, and the official logo patch of the U.S. Olympic Team. Closing uniforms are more sporty, with “USA” racing-style jackets.

Styx and Foreigner tour the U.S. together for the first time in a decade with special guest John Waite

Styx and Foreigner are joining forces for the first time since 2014 in their new U.S. “Renegades & Juke Box Heroes” tour. The show will feature the bands’ biggest hits and a special guest performance by John Waite. Fans can catch the two legendary groups in a city near them now through August 28. A special limited-edition album will also be available at the shows.
