Brian Wilson, The Beach Boys co-founder and legendary songwriter dead at 82
The creative force behind the iconic California band has passed away at 82-years-old confirmed by his family on Wednesday. A post on his Instagram reads, “We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved father Brian Wilson has passed away,” his daughters Carnie and Wendy Wilson, of Wilson Phillips fame along with his four other children wrote, “We are at a loss for words right now. Please respect our privacy at this time as our family is grieving. We realize that we are sharing our grief with the world. Love & Mercy.” The Grammy winning singer-songwriter leaves us with treasured hit songs "Good Vibrations,” "California Girls," and "Wouldn't It Be Nice," among many others he co-wrote for The Beach Boys.
Dua Lipa confirms engagement to British actor Callum Turner
The 29-year-old singer confirmed her engagement to the 35-year-old actor to British Vogue. “Yeah, we’re engaged. It’s very exciting," the three-time Grammy winning singer told a reporter from the outlet over dinner. The pair were first spotted as an item in early 2024 and made it Instagram official with a series of cuddly pics taken at the Glastonbury Festival in July.
