Carrie Underwood to replace Katy Perry as American Idol judge next season
Carrie Underwood is returning to her American Idol roots, but this time as a judge. The country star and season 4 winner will take on her new role alongside current judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan for the upcoming season. Underwood will replace Katy Perry on the panel following her recent departure from the show after 7 seasons. The upcoming season is set to premiere in Spring of 2025.

Pete Davidson enters wellness facility seeking treatment for mental health
Comedian Pete Davidson is taking a step away from the spotlight, canceling various gigs and performances across the country for the near future. The former SNL star, who has previously been open about his struggle with mental health and rehabilitation, reportedly struggles with borderline personality disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. Davidson had previously entered a rehabilitation facility in July 2023 for the same diagnoses. It is unclear how long he will remain in treatment.

Cardi B announces pregnancy after filing for divorce from Offset
Cardi B has announced she is pregnant with her third child, shortly after filing for divorce from husband Offset for the second time. She is also seeking primary custody of their children. The female rapper had previously filed for divorce in 2020, but the two quickly reconciled. The news comes amid continuous rumors of Offset’s alleged cheating; however he has since denied these accusations.
