Chuck Norris Passes Away at 86
Legendary martial artist and actor Chuck Norris passed away yesterday morning at the age of 86. His family confirmed the news in a statement, sharing that he was surrounded by loved ones and at peace. “To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength. To us, he was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, and the heart of our family,” the statement read. “He lived with faith, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved.” Norris reportedly suffered a medical emergency while on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, where he owned a home. A true icon in martial arts, Norris held an 8th-degree black belt in Taekwondo, became the first Westerner awarded an 8th-degree Grand Master rank, and founded his own system, Chun Kuk Do. He rose to global fame through film and television, most notably as Cordell Walker in Walker, Texas Ranger (1993–2001). His film career included standout roles in The Way of the Dragon—featuring his unforgettable fight with Bruce Lee—as well as Missing in Action and Delta Force. Just days before his passing, Norris celebrated his birthday with a video of him boxing, later saying, “I don’t age, I level up.” Chuck Norris didn’t just leave a legacy—he defined one.
Taylor Frankie Paul’s Bachelorette season cancelled after 2023 assault video surfaces
ABC has officially canceled Season 22 of The Bachelorette after a 2023 video surfaced showing its lead, Taylor Frankie Paul, involved in an alleged assault on her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. In footage obtained by TMZ, Paul is seen throwing barstools at Mortensen, who appears to be recording the incident. A child can be heard crying in the video, and Mortensen claims one of the barstools struck Paul’s daughter. Paul, known as the founder of “MomTok” and a breakout star of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, is also facing a reported domestic assault investigation tied to a February incident involving Mortensen. Production on Season 5 of the Hulu series has been temporarily paused. According to early reports, Paul had chosen Doug Mason, a 28-year-old ocean lifeguard from San Diego, as the winner of her season. The engagement reportedly ended after about a month, with the relationship dissolving shortly before Paul reconnected with Mortensen, with whom she shares a young son.
