President Donald Trump to address nation tonight, preempting Survivor Season 49 finale
President Donald Trump is scheduled to deliver a live, televised address to the nation tonight, prompting broadcast networks to preempt regularly scheduled programming. The address will interrupt CBS’s airing of the Survivor Season 49 finale, marking an unusual programming change. The three-hour finale of the long-running reality series is set to begin at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. According to CBS Entertainment, the episode “will resume where it left off immediately following the president’s address for Eastern and Central Time Zone viewers on the CBS Television Network and will air in its entirety.” Trump first teased the speech in a Truth Social post on Tuesday, announcing it would air “LIVE FROM THE WHITE HOUSE, at 9 P.M. EST.” In the post, he described the past year as “a great year for our Country” and added that “THE BEST IS YET TO COME!”
The Voice crowns season 28 winner
After weeks of standout performances, fierce competition, and a two-night live finale, The Voice named Aiden Ross its winner. The victory marks mentor Niall Horan’s third consecutive win on the show. Ross, a 20-year-old Texas A&M engineering student, emerged on top of a talented field of finalists, including Ralph Edwards from Team Snoop and DEK of Hearts from Team Niall. With the win, Ross takes home a recording contract and cash prize, capping off a memorable season of the hit singing competition.
