U.S. marks 24th anniversary of 9/11 terror attacks
Two dozen years after the horrific strike on the United States that took the lives of nearly 3,000 Americans, the country remembers. President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump attended a solemn observance event this morning at the Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, VA, alongside families of the victims, first responders, and military personnel. A moment of silence was observed at 8:46 a.m.—the exact time the first plane struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center on this date in 2001.

The president addressed the crowd with a message of resilience and unity, stating, “We will never forget the innocent souls lost on that fateful day. We honor their memory not only through remembrance but through our unwavering commitment to defending the values they stood for—freedom, courage, and the American spirit.”
