Savannah Guthrie offers $1 million for recovery of her mother Nancy
Savannah Guthrie has renewed her public plea for help in finding her missing 84-year-old mother, Nancy, who was taken from her home in the Catalina Foothills area of Tucson in the early morning hours of February 1. In an Instagram video the TODAY show co-anchor announced that her family is offering a reward of up to $1 million for information that leads to Nancy’s recovery. In the post, Guthrie urged anyone with knowledge of her mother’s whereabouts to come forward: “Someone knows how to find our mom and bring her home.” Guthrie also tagged the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), announcing that she and her family are donating $500,000 to the organization in support of its efforts to help bring missing loved ones home.
Actor Robert Carradine passes away at 71
Actor Robert Carradine has passed away at the age of 71. His family confirmed that he died by suicide after a nearly 20-year battle with bipolar disorder. A member of the renowned Carradine acting family, Robert built a career defined by memorable and beloved performances. He was best known for his role as Lewis Skolnick in the cult comedy hit Revenge of the Nerds and its sequels. He also endeared himself to a new generation of viewers as the father of Hilary Duff’s title character on the Disney Channel series Lizzie McGuire. Earlier in his career, he appeared alongside his real-life brothers, Keith and David Carradine, in the 1980 Western The Long Riders. Carradine is survived by his daughters, actress Ever Carradine—known for her work on The Handmaid's Tale—and Marika Reed Carradine; his son, Ian Alexander Carradine; and three grandchildren.
Met Gala 2026 dress code revealed as "Fashion is Art"
The Metropolitan Museum of Art has unveiled the dress code theme for the 2026 Met Gala: “Fashion is Art.” The Costume Institute’s spring exhibition, Costume Art, will explore the interplay between clothing and the body, pairing garments with works of art from the Museum’s collection to highlight fashion as an embodied art form. The Gala, set for Monday, May 4, 2026, invites guests to interpret the theme through their own style. Costume Art will be on view at The Met Fifth Avenue from May 10, 2026, to January 10, 2027. Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour will co-chair the evening’s star-studded benefit.
Nick Reiner pleads not guilty to parent’s murders and reportedly is no longer receiving financial support from family
Nick Reiner, 32, pleaded not guilty yesterday to two counts of first-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of his parents, director Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner, on December 14, 2025. He is now represented by public defender Kimberly Greene, after high-profile attorney Alan Jackson withdrew in January. Reports indicate Reiner’s siblings, Romy and Jake, have cut off all financial support and will not hire a private defense team, saying, “Nick's defense is Nick's defense. They're not involved.” A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 29 where a judge will decide whether the case will proceed to trial.
