Sting extends 2026 North American tour and announces new live album release
Following a run of sold-out shows and widespread critical acclaim across Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, and South America, 17-time Grammy-winning artist Sting is keeping the momentum going. The music icon has announced a new fall 2026 leg of his celebrated STING 3.0 Tour across North America. Among the newly revealed dates is a special six-night mini-residency at the historic Brooklyn Paramount on November 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, and 18, 2026, featuring special guest Fiction Plane. In addition to the expanded tour, Sting has released a brand-new live album, STING 3.0 LIVE, available now digitally, on CD, and on 180g vinyl. Recorded during the STING 3.0 Tour, the collection showcases some of his greatest hits, including the first-ever live release of “Be Still My Beating Heart.” The 10-track digital edition also features a stirring live version of “Fragile,” his 1987 classic that recently found renewed attention after being covered by a children’s choir in the Netflix miniseries Adolescence.

Former NASCAR driver Chase Pistone passes away at 42
Chase Pistone, a former NASCAR driver and team owner, has passed away at the age of 42. His family confirmed the news Monday. While authorities have not released an official cause of death, his brothers, Tom and Nick Pistone, asked that the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline be shared in connection with the announcement. A third-generation racer, Pistone carried on a deep-rooted family legacy in motorsports as the grandson of two-time NASCAR Cup Series winner Tom “Tiger” Pistone. Between 2005 and 2014, he competed across several NASCAR national touring divisions, including the Xfinity Series, Craftsman Truck Series, and ARCA Series. Before reaching NASCAR’s national stage, Pistone built a strong reputation in Legends car racing, where he emerged as one of the discipline’s standout drivers. After stepping away from full-time competition, he transitioned into team ownership, launching Chase Pistone Inc., which grew into one of the most competitive programs in Legends and Late Model racing. In recent years, Pistone became widely respected as a mentor, helping guide and develop young drivers pursuing careers in the sport. Members of the racing community have paid tribute, remembering him as both a fierce competitor and a dedicated advocate for grassroots racing.
