Kansas City Chiefs to appear in third consecutive Super Bowl, set to face the Philadelphia Eagles
Super Bowl LIX is just around the corner and the matchup has officially been set. The Kansas City Chiefs secured their third consecutive spot in the Super Bowl with their 32-29 win over the Buffalo Bills last night in the AFC Championship game. The Philadelphia Eagles also punched their ticket to New Orleans with their 55-23 win over NFC East rival, the Washington Commanders. The two teams will face off in the championship game just two years after the Chiefs beat the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII. With a Chiefs victory, the team would complete the first-ever “three-peat” in NFL history. Fans can tune into the big game on Sunday, February 9, when it kicks off at 6:30 PM on FOX.
Katy Perry announces U.S. dates for upcoming The Lifetimes Tour
The tour will make stops in 25 cities across the U.S. from May 7 through August 23. It will support Perry’s most recent album, 143, released in September. In addition to performances in the U.S., Perry will also make stops in cities in Canada, Mexico, Europe, South America, and Australia, all of which were announced at a prior date. Tickets for the U.S. leg are set to go on presale tomorrow and will be released for public purchase on January 31.
MLB star Aaron Judge welcoming first baby with wife Samantha Bracksieck
The New York Yankees outfielder revealed the happy news in a prerecorded video accepting the 2024 AL MVP Award at the 2024 MLB Awards in New York City. In the video, Judge apologized for his absence from the ceremony, saying, “I want to start by apologizing for missing the award dinner this evening. However, my wife Samantha and I are expecting our first child any day, and unfortunately could not make it.” Page Six had previously reported the exciting news in December. However, the couple did not confirm the pregnancy immediately. This will be the first child for Judge and Bracksieck, who married in 2021.
