Wicked: For Good trailer to make public debut during one-night-only re-release of Wicked in theaters across the U.S. and Canada
The highly-anticipated trailer, which was first screened at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on April 2, is now coming to a theater near you. Encore screenings of the two-part film’s first feature will be held on June 4 across the U.S. and Canada, serving as a prelude to Wicked: For Good’s premiere on November 21. Included in the special screenings will be the public debut of Wicked: For Good’s official trailer, just short of 6 months before the film’s release, however it is unclear at this time when the trailer will be shared online. The news comes just days after director Jon M. Chu announced a live musical special featuring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande will air this fall on NBC. Fans interested in attending an encore screening can now purchase tickets through the film’s official website.
Halle Bailey granted restraining order against ex DDG, claiming verbal and physical abuse
The temporary restraining order, which was granted by a Los Angeles County judge on Tuesday, requires the rapper and YouTuber, born Daryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., to remain over 100 yards away from Bailey and their one-year-old son Halo at all times. In the filing, Bailey details several instances of Granberry verbally and physically abusing her in front of the 17-month-old child, including photographic evidence of large bruises and a chipped tooth which the actress claims were acquired from her ex during a physical altercation. The filing also includes claims of DDG falsely accusing Bailey of being with other men, with him allegedly harassing her over text as recently as Mother’s Day. The actress has also been granted custody of son Halo while she spends two months in Italy for an upcoming project beginning June 7. The news comes more than two months after DDG took to social media to accuse Bailey of keeping their son from him despite his alleged efforts to see him. The two are set to face each other in a court hearing on June 4.
