Halloween Ends cast Jamie Lee Curtis, Andi Matichak, Kyle Richards, James Jude Courtney, Will Patton, and Rohan Campbell came out for the world premiere of the final film in the franchise at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood last night.
Curtis reflected on her audition for the iconic role of Laurie Strode, which launched her career. The actress and now executive producer of the film has portrayed Laurie for more than four decades, one of the longest actor-character pairings in cinema history.
“Of course, I’ll never say goodbye to her. How could I ever? She is me. I am her. We are one,” said the star of her long-running character.
In the dramatic final chapter, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. With no trace of Michael Myers in a few years, she decides to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control once and for all.
Catch the horror flick in theaters and streaming only on Peacock on October 14.
